WQXR Holiday

New York's classical station plays choral and orchestral holiday music right through the season.

The WQXR Holiday Channel comes from WQXR, New York's listener-supported classical station on 105.9 FM, run by the non-profit New York Public Radio.

It runs around the clock through the season, mixing orchestral favourites such as Leroy Anderson's Christmas pieces with carols and choral works by composers including Benjamin Britten. In recent years it has carried on into early January.

Besides listening here, you can find it on WQXR.org, in the WQXR app, or by asking Alexa or Google to play the WQXR Holiday Channel.
