Smooth Christmas
Mellow festive favourites
About Smooth Christmas
Smooth's seasonal pop-up of easy-going Christmas: Bublé, Sinatra, Motown and the soft-focus classics. Made for wrapping presents.
Smooth Christmas first appeared in November 2011, when Smooth Radio's then owner GMG launched it on national DAB as a festive spin-off. Global, which owns Smooth today, brought it back on Global Player in 2024.
In 2025 it returned at the end of September, on DAB in London and on Global Player across the UK. It plays Smooth's gentler take on Christmas, from Elton John and Whitney Houston to Slade.
