About SomaFM Xmas in Frisko
An eclectic, irreverent San Francisco grab-bag of novelty songs, oddities and left-field Christmas gems.
Xmas in Frisko is SomaFM's oldest holiday channel, running since 2005. It's aimed at people who are tired of traditional holiday music, and SomaFM warns that it is not for the easily offended.
It isn't only about Christmas: the mix takes in Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and the winter solstice too, with punk carols and comedy songs next to the odd straight-faced gem.
It has no adverts and is paid for by SomaFM's listeners.
