Radio Noël

A French station that has played Christmas all day since 2007: chansons de Noël alongside the international hits.

Radio Noël started in 2007 in Orny, a village in Lorraine in north-east France, and has come back every winter since. It is a small, independent web radio rather than part of a big network.

The programme is Christmas music and nothing else: French chansons de Noël sit next to the English-language standards, which makes it a gentle way to hear the French side of the season.

It runs as a seasonal station, typically from November into January, with very little advertising.
