Most “free” music apps make you pay with adverts, an account and an algorithm. muso.fm doesn't. Pick one of these 23 radio stations and press play: there's nothing to sign up for, we play no ads, and none of these stations has commercial breaks.
Every station was picked by a person who listened to it, not by a recommendation engine. The music is chosen by real DJs and presenters: no AI playlists, no endless autoplay. It's live radio, so you choose the station rather than the song, and that's how you hear something new.

Questions
Is there free music streaming with no ads?
Yes. muso.fm plays no ads of its own and needs no account. The stations on this page also have no commercial breaks: they're funded by listeners, by public broadcasters such as Radio France and the ABC, or run on non-commercial licences. Some public and college stations read a short sponsor credit now and then.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Press play and the station starts. An account is optional and only syncs your favourite stations between devices.
Is it legal?
Yes. These are official streams published by the stations themselves, the same ones their own websites and apps play. muso.fm doesn't host or copy any music.
Who picks the music? Is it AI?
People. Every station on muso.fm was added by hand after we'd listened to it, and there's no recommendation algorithm or AI-made playlist deciding what you hear. The music on each station is chosen by its own DJs, presenters and programmers.
Can I choose which song plays?
No, and that's the trade-off. Radio is live, so you pick a station rather than a track. In return there's no account, no adverts on these stations and no algorithm, and you'll hear music you'd never have searched for.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There's also a muso.fm app for iPhone.
